The Role:The fixed-term Management Accountant role is an important one within the Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the quality of existing reporting and helping to drive process and reporting improvement, including design and implementation of new entity reporting structures and providing general assistance as required to the team,m including assisting in the completion of the annual audit. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Produce monthly management accounts and other financial reporting across a range of entities within the group in accordance with strict deadlines.Build out general ledger accounting structure reflecting new entity reporting structures; build out accounting processes and reporting, ensuring appropriate internal controls are established and maintained throughout the business.To assist in implementing continuous improvement in the quality of financial reporting.To identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, drive the implementation of that automation and to review and build out the control environment.To undertake ad hoc financial analyses and other activities as required.Skills and Experience:A qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.Strong technical accounting knowledge would be an advantage.A minimum of two years'' experience working in a similar role, ideally in a consumer financial services business.Experience of working in a business of a similar scale, and s
