The role is responsible for carrying out electroplating and associated processes to strict technical, safety, and quality standards, contributing directly to component durability, compliance, and airworthiness.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electroplating and related processes in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and job cards.Use internal quality management systems for recording and tracking work; full training provided.Prepare components for electroplating, including masking and surface preparation.Undertake material handling activities, including the use of gantry cranes, slings, and lifting equipment.Perform surface preparation processes such as grit blasting (desirable but not essential).Carry out electroplating processes including, where experienced:Cadmium and Dalic Cadmium platingNickel platingHard Chrome platingAlocromNital etch / acid etch inspectionHeat treatment of componentsComplete work in line with technical instructions and required quality standards.Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with health and safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Maintain awareness of environmental controls associated with electroplating processes.Maintain an up-to-date Practical Ex
