Laser Operator Location: Leamington SpaPermanentHours: 37.5 hours per week.Rotating weekly shiftsShifts 6.00am - 2.30 pm and 06.00-12.00 Friday and 2.30pm - 11pm and 12.00-18.00 FridaySalary £33, 620.73 per annum + shift allowance (where applicable)A well-established manufacturing company that specialises in heavy duty vehicles are looking to recruit a Laser Operator to join their small team based in Leamington Spa on a permanent basis The Laser Operator role: Operating and running the Laser machinesManufacturing components to a high standardAbility to interpret and work to CAD/engineering drawingsUsing engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier s, callipers, or MicrometresMaintaining machinery by cleaning it and making sure it is in working order and checking and ordering materials needed.Working with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminiumRemoving and cleaning of finished parts ready for Production.Daily TMP checks and general maintenance of Laser machines, replacing specific parts, nozzles, lenses etc.Completing your own quality control checksCompletion of documentationKeeping to tight deadlines and targets The ideal Laser Operator Experience of either Amada, Bystronic or a Trumpf machine would be beneficial.Machine operating experiencePrevious experience of operating laser cutting machines, setting would be an advantageExcellent communication skillsHas the ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.Ability to plan and work from own
