Relief Support Worker
As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide flexible, person centred support to adults, helping them live as independently as possible. This is a practical role where you may work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleepovers, supporting people in their own homes and communities. You will work both independently and as part of a wider team, using your judgement to respond to individual needs and support people safely and respectfully. What you will do Provide day to day personal and practical supportSupport people with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and managing correspondencePromote independence, choice and social inclusionSupport access to work, education, leisure and community activitiesContribute to support plans, reviews and accurate record keepingCarry out lone working, risk assessments and respond to emergencies when required About youYou do not need to be qualified to apply. If you already hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, that is great. If not, you must be willing to register with the SSSC and work towards the qualification with our support. Experience in care or a related setting is helpful but not essential. You will be reliable, organised and comfortable working on your own when needed, with basic IT skills.
