Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets by analysing market trends, overseeing advertising and promotional campaigns and maintaining relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction

Manage the dealership''s budget and ensure profitability by maximizing revenue and controlling expenses

Ensure the dealership provides excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively

Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers

Observe and promote Health and Safety legislation

Identify new business opportunities and market trends and implement innovative solutions to improve dealership operations

Promote the dealership''s brand and reputation in the community

A Day in the LifeAs a General Manager, you will be directly responsible for the site, its employees and the site''s results. You have to juggle sales, aftersales and parts. Managing a large team is challenging, as you need to adapt to everyone on site. Delegation is essential, as you will not be able to do everything in this role. Focus on key areas, and nail each one of them one by one.
