Electrical Design Engineer – Water Industry, Manchester | Permanent or Contract | Full-time (Office-based, flexibility considered).Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the water sector? Our client, a leading design consultancy, is growing their Manchester team and is looking for engineers to support major water and wastewater projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a consultancy that is shaping the future of sustainable water infrastructure.Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.Produce technical specifications, single line diagrams, and schematics.Work on LV and HV distribution, MCCs, instrumentation, and control systems.Coordinate with civil, process, and mechanical engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.Support feasibility, outline, and detailed design phases.Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).Experience within the UK water industry is highly desirable.Good understanding of relevant design standards, codes, and industry practices.Familiarity with design software (Amtech, AutoCAD, or similar).Strong communication and team-working skills.Why join
