Assembly Operative – Early Shift – Just Temps is currently recruiting for multiple Assembly Operatives to join our client based in Sudbury, Suffolk, working within a busy and innovative manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

You will be working as part of a busy manufacturing team, responsible for assembling components, testing finished products and carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.

We have multiple positions available on the early shift, offering consistent working hours.

Working Hours – Early Shift:

• Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am – 12:30pm

The starting pay rate is £13.45 per hour.

Key Duties will include:

• Assembling parts, products and components accurately to specification
• Testing finished products to ensure functionality and quality
• Carrying out quality checks and identifying any defects or discrepancies
• Using hand tools and equipment to complete precise assembly tasks
• Using computers to input information, follow instructions and update production records
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• No previous assembly or manufacturing experience is required – full training will be provided
• Must be confident using a computer and have basic computer skills – essential
• Must be able to provide a full 5-year referencing history prior to starting – essential
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle – essential
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
