OverviewIT Service Desk Analyst - Temporary (up to 12 months) – Poole, Dorset, England

Salary: £29,079 - £34,210 (dependent on experience). Contract type: Temporary – Fixed Term Contract or Secondment. Hours: Full Time. Location: Poole, Dorset, England. Reference: 20086. Closing Date: not specified.

Responsibilities

Provide first and second line IT service desk support for services across the Microsoft suite on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Support video conferencing hardware issues and mobile telephony.

Cover shifts from 07:45 to 18:00 hours and be prepared to work varying shifts within these times, including IT phone support to volunteer lifeboat crew and staff members.

Focus on hardware provisioning and service requests, including hardware configuration for new starters, break/fix replacements, software installs, and supplying IT peripherals.

Qualifications

Evidence of knowledge and experience of ITIL processes.

Familiar with delivering to SLAs and managing workload accordingly.

Experienced user of an ITSM (ticketing) tool able to manage user incidents and service requests.

Knowledge or experience of deployment tools such as Intune and remote support applications (advantageous).

Strong focus on customer service and working as part of a team to support crew, staff, and volunteers.
