Rail Project Manager Location: Manchester, Salford The Role We are seeking an experienced Rail Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of rail projects within an established engineering business. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the operational, financial, customer and people management aspects of designated projects, ensuring delivery against agreed budgets, programmes and quality standards. You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining a pipeline of work through building strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities Manage the successful delivery of rail projects, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and operational performance. Develop, manage and deliver project budgets in line with agreed forecasts and financial expectations. Oversee project processes and procedures, driving right-first-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Review, interpret and manage contractual requirements, working closely with commercial and senior management teams. Define project scopes, objectives and deliverables, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and resource allocation. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the rail sector, including preparing quotations and supporting tender submissions.
