Your new company You will be joining a growing and established Facilities Management provider that delivers hard FM, building maintenance and specialist services to approximately 30 clients. The portfolio is primarily made up of commercial office environments, alongside some retail-related contracts.The business combines an in-house engineering service with specialist subcontractor support and is now strengthening its mobile engineering team by bringing more mechanical knowledge and fault-finding capability in-house.Your new role As a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer with a Mechanical bias, you will report to the Lead Engineer and work as part of a developing engineering team. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and minor works across a varied portfolio of client properties.A key focus of the role will be diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults, reducing the reliance on external contractors and helping the business deliver a broader range of services directly to its clients.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance in line with SFG20 and manufacturer guidanceDiagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possibleWorking across HVAC, plumbing, pumps, valves, chillers, electrical systems and general building fabricUndertaking routine electrical testing, emergency-lighting checks and fire-alarm testing within your level of competencyCompleting minor installations, ..... full job details .....
