Job Description:

Electrician - Morden

MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a social housing contractor on a temporary contract for 3 Months covering Morden and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will be available at short notice and have experience working within social housing. You must hold a full UK driving licence, as a company van and fuel card will be provided.

Pay Rate:

• £32.00 per hour Umbrella (42.5 hours per week)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

You will be required to:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, including both occupied and void properties.
• Complete electrical repairs, EICRs, testing and inspection, and associated remedial works.
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
• Attend and complete appointments as scheduled.
• Accurately complete certification and compliance documentation.

Qualifications Required:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• BS 7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Basic DBS Check.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable:

• Previous experience working within the social housing sector.
• Strong knowledge of domestic electrical maintenance and testing requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
