This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified engineering professional to join a leading Further Education provider and play a key role in supporting both lecturers and students within a busy workshop environment. The Role The successful candidate will provide technical support across the Engineering Department, ensuring that workshop facilities, tools, equipment and materials are prepared, maintained and operated safely to support teaching and learning activities. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing workshop areas, equipment, tools and materials for practical classes. Assisting lecturers and students during practical sessions. Demonstrating basic engineering techniques under the supervision of teaching staff. Promoting and maintaining safe working practices within the workshop environment. Monitoring, maintaining and storing tools and equipment. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and workshop regulations. Maintaining stock levels and inventory records.
