Warehouse Operative

Location: Stone, Staffordshire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Start Time: Flexible start between 7:00am and 11:00am
Weekend Work: Occasional weekend work may be required

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Stone. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, has a strong work ethic and takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised and productive warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately

• Loading and unloading goods safely

• Moving stock around the warehouse

• Preparing orders for dispatch

• Checking goods for quantity and quality

• Maintaining accurate stock records

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised

• Following company health and safety procedures

• Working effectively as part of a team

• Carrying out other general warehouse duties as required

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous warehouse experience, although full training can be provided

• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Have good attention to detail

• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Be flexible and available to work occasional weekends when required
