Head ChefBosco PizzeriaWe are a neighbourhood pizzeria inspired by the best pizzerias of Naples and New York. We have 4 restaurants in the South West - 2 in Bristol, 1 in Bath and 1 in Cheltenham, Cardiff will be our 5th site. Bosco pizzeria are looking for a driven, ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate head chef to head up our opening team.We are looking for someone who enjoys being an inspirational leader of a kitchen team, we hope to find the perfect head chef to help convey our passion for fresh, seasonal and stunning Italian produce and cookery, as well as someone who is dedicate to training, developing and inspiring young chefs and enthusing a whole restaurant with passion for what we do.You will also need a solid financial understanding in the kitchen, with the ability to achieve GP and payroll targets and a love for being part of a busy and lively restaurant atmosphere.
Your key responsibilities will be:Full operational control over the day to day running of the kitchenEnsuring every dish that leaves the pass is cooked and presented to the highest standardsTraining all members of your team to develop them to be the best chefs they can beFull rota control and responsibility, along with the general manager, for achieving payroll targetsFollowing stock control procedures to hit a GP targetLiaising with our suppliers for orderingEnsuring that all relevant HandS and food safety obligations are adhered to and managed using our systemsEnsuring that a positive working environment is maintained, where all members of staff continue to learn and progress
What we are offering:Base Salary of £40,000 per annumTronc tips estimated between£11k - £13kannually. - All tips are evenly shared between all employees.Up to£4,000additional bonus potentialOvertime - Get paid overtime for any full shift worked over your normal contracted hours, at yournormal hourly rate28 days holiday per yearDaily meals provided on shift50% discount at all Bosco Pizzeria sitesGreat career progression in an expanding companyBeing part of a successful and passionate team
What we require:Previous experience as a head chef or at least 3 years at sous chef levelA positive attitude and the ability to transmit this to inspire and train your teamThe ability to calmly and cooly run busy services in an open kitchenAn attention to detail to allow you to produce the best food you can
