Are you a graduate in Psychology, Counselling, Education, Criminology or a related subject? A supportive primary school in Reading is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Assistant to join its specialist Resource Base.

What will you be doing?
As a Mental Health Assistant, you''ll support pupils from Reception to Year 6 who may experience:
- Autism and ADHD.
- Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties.
- Trauma-related behaviours.
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Barriers to learning and social development.
You''ll help children manage their emotions, build resilience, develop confidence and establish positive relationships in a safe, nurturing environment.

- Pay: -95105 per day
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract: Full-time, long-term
