Vehicle Build Technician£35,000 £42,000 OvertimePermanent 40 HoursMonday Friday WarwickshireVEHICLE BUILD TECHNICIANAre you an experienced vehicle technician looking for something more specialist?A growing automotive business is looking for a skilled Vehicle Build Technician to join its workshop team.You ll work on classic 4x4 vehicles, carrying out ground-up builds and restorations from initial strip-down through to final finish.THE ROLEAs a Vehicle Build Technician, you ll take ownership of individual vehicle builds and work alongside an experienced team.Your work will include:Stripping and cataloguing donor vehiclesChassis, suspension and drivetrain buildsBodywork assembly following paintInstalling pre-made wiring loomsFitting trim, lighting and other componentsAssessing and preparing componentsPlanning and managing individual buildsKeeping build records up to dateMaintaining a clean, organised workshopWHAT WE RE LOOKING FORThe ideal Vehicle Build Technician will have:Strong practical vehicle-mechanics knowledgeHigh standards of workmanshipExcellent attention to detailAbility to manage your own workloadGood planning and organisational skillsExperience working independently on mechanical projectsGenuine interest in classic vehiclesClassic vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential.Welding and fabrication skills would be beneficial.A vehicle-mechanics or City and Guilds Automotive qualification is welcome but not essential.Driving licence preferred.WHAT S ON ..... full job details .....
