Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Trafford Park, Manchester Hours: Monday Friday 7:00am 3:30pm and Call-Out Rota Salary: Circa £50,000 - £52,000 per annum Holiday: 25 Days + Bank Holidays The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join an established manufacturing site based in Trafford Park, Manchester. Working as part of an experienced engineering team within a busy manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production plant and equipment, carrying out a mixture of planned, predictive and reactive maintenance. This is a hands-on engineering position with a strong focus on plant reliability, fault finding and continuous improvement. You ll work across both electrical and mechanical equipment, responding to breakdowns while ensuring planned maintenance is completed effectively to maximise plant availability. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance across production plant and equipment. Respond quickly and efficiently to breakdowns and unplanned plant stoppages. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Carry out daily plant monitoring inspections and routine equipment checks. Maintain and fault find on 3-phase motors, electrical control systems and associated PLC-controlled equipment.
