The business specialises in delivering high-quality new-build homes across the residential sector, with a strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction and creating well-designed communities. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has recently progressed from an Assistant Quantity Surveyor position into a Quantity Surveyor role and is looking to further develop their commercial experience within a housebuilding environment. Working closely with the wider commercial and operational teams, you will take responsibility for supporting the financial management of residential developments, ensuring costs are controlled and projects are delivered within budget. Key Responsibilities Assist with the commercial management of residential developments from inception through to completion. Prepare and monitor budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts. Manage subcontractor and supplier packages, including procurement, tendering and negotiations. Review and agree subcontractor valuations, variations and final accounts. Monitor project costs, identifying potential savings and commercial risks. Assist with cost reporting and cash flow forecasting.
