Position: Technical Sales EngineerLocation: Sheffield, South YorkshireSalary: 35-37K DOENicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer, to join an established and growing client in the Sheffield area.You will be responsible for and tasked with growing your customer account base and increasing sales within it, as well as having a proactive approach to generating new business customers. You will build and nurture relationships with customers, ensuring high expectations are met, and will be responsible for taking a lead or enquiry through from point of sale to delivery. You will:Answer incoming sales calls Monitor and respond to customer email enquiries Support and problem solve customer queries/challenges at every opportunity Build quotes and progress orders dependent on customer requirements Maintain a high level of service and reliability throughout all customer contact Maintain and grow current customer relationships Proactively seek out new business opportunities and convert into orders The ability to work well in a team is essential, but you must also be confident working from your own initiative to handle enquiries and manage your customer base effectively. This requires interpersonal and organisational skills with an attention to detail, interacting with both customers directly and all teams internally, such as CAD Drawing, Production and Accounts.
