Handamp;C Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a beautifully appointed two£storey gastro pub. The ground floor delivers elevated British pub classics, while the upstairs dining room showcases refined, modern French cuisine. We are seeking an accomplished Head Chef to lead a brigade of six and drive the continued evolution of a thoughtful, seasonally led menu.

The pub operates with a calm, quality£focused rhythm, typically serving 20+ covers at lunch and around 80 covers at dinner. The kitchen works closely with trusted suppliers, producing dishes rooted in French technique, seasonality, and a deep respect for provenance.

Head Chef Requirements:

• A driven Head Chef with experience working in award winning gastro pubs or reputable restaurants.
• Confident leading a team of six chefs, fostering a calm, collaborative and standards£focused culture
• Strong financial acumen andmdash; confident with GP, costing and building commercially viable dishes
• Proven ability to run a disciplined kitchen: operations, hygiene, training and development
• A natural communicator who enjoys mentoring and elevating both BOH and FOH teams
• Passionate about seasonality; ideally previous experience working with British andamp; French cuisine!
