A UK specialist bank within the property finance and specialist lending space is hiring a Portfolio Manager to join its Bridging Finance and Specialist Mortgages team. This role plays a key part in managing a portfolio of bridging and specialist mortgage facilities, including refurbishment-led lending across light, medium, and heavy refurb projects. You''ll be responsible for strong credit stewardship, proactive portfolio monitoring, and delivering an excellent customer journey throughout the lifecycle of each facility. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor a portfolio of bridging and specialist mortgage accounts Track loan expiries, extensions, construction milestones, interest tranches, and part releases Perform cashflow analysis and monitor early warning indicators Approve advances, materials on site, and payments within delegated authority Prepare credit proposals for amendments to existing facilities Act as the primary point of contact for brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with credit policy and internal procedures Produce accurate portfolio reporting and management information Key Requirements Experience in property lending or development finance within banking or property services Strong understanding of bridging finance and refurbishment-led lending Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Customer-focused with confident stakeholder management skills E
