Operations Manager Newark / Mansfield (Outskirts) Full Time, Permanent, 60,000 plus Benefits The Operations Manager is a pivotal leadership position with total accountability for driving operational excellence, efficiency, and sustainable growth across the organisation. Working in close collaboration with the Managing Director and Engineering Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, champion outstanding customer delivery, and help embed modern business practices at the forefront of the environmental sector. THE ROLE Your responsibilities as an Operations Manager will include: Leading and mentoring the operations, scheduling, and manufacturing teams, overseeing recruitment, appraisals, professional development, and day-to-day HR support. Managing the scheduling division to optimise engineer travel time, minimise costs, and ensure forward diary planning for maintenance and commercial installations by at least three months. Overseeing warehouse and stock management operations, setting inventory KPIs to balance cash flow with required operational availability. Formulating and monitoring robust supply chain strategies, negotiating terms with suppliers, and supervising subcontractor delivery and quality standards. Maintaining high standards of Health and Safety compliance across the workshop, head office, company fleet, and client sites in accordance with legislation.
