Who We Are

Rodericks Dental is dynamic group of dental practices, offering NHS and Private care throughout England and Wales.

We are clinically lead and truly believe in making decisions based on putting the best interests of our patients first. We take great pride in our teams and try to ensure each and every member of our teams receives the opportunity to develop into the best version of themselves.

We place a huge focus on education and development and it is at the forefront of everything we do. Many of our dentist are experienced mentors and supervisors and with over 40 DFT practices we understand the needs of our junior Colleagues.

We listen to our colleagues and it became apparent joining a practice could be stressful an often a daunting process. so our FD+1 Scheme was launched to support FD+1’s transition to an associate within our practices. The positive feedback from our current FD+1’s was so overwhelming we decided to keep it a permanent fixture!!

What is the FD+1 Scheme?

The fd+1 scheme is a year-long programme of Hands on study days, interactive cpd and 7 day a week clinical and mentor support

What can I expect from the scheme?

We arrange hands on-study days with experienced speakers in restorative dentistry, endodontics, clinical photography, composite bonding and oral surgery to allow you to refine your skills and apply them to practice.A dedicated Clinical Support Lead who will hold regular group Zoom meetings, and drop-in sessions so you can discuss clinical cases and answer any of your queries.Support at practice level with an experienced clinical lead on siteThe opportunity to network with other FD+1’s and our wider clinical team.Freedom in running your own diary, you choose your appointment times to suit youInvestment in equipment and materials to support your clinical interestsThe feeling of being involved in something special.

How much does it cost to join the Fd+1 scheme?

Nothing at all! All the hands-on days, remote sessions and support is completely free for you to use as needed.
