We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented-Mechanical Inspector-to join our client growing team in-Basildon-on a-permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment, playing a key role in ensuring the quality of our mechanical components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed mechanical inspections of manufactured components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications

• Use a range of inspection equipment, including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable)

• Identify and report non-conformances and support root cause analysis

• Accurately complete inspection reports and maintain quality documentation

• Liaise with production and quality teams to ensure product quality and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a mechanical inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances

• Proficient with manual measuring instruments; CMM experience is desirable but not essential

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to work rotating early and late shifts
