About the Role:

• Teach engaging and inclusive English lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, using creative strategies to make learning accessible to all students.
• Encourage a love of literature and language while supporting students to achieve their academic potential.
• Create a positive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an inspiring curriculum and participate in school activities to enhance the student experience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching English across all secondary key stages (KS3-5).
• A passion for English and a commitment to helping students develop a love for the subject.
• A creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
