Location: Cardiff
Start Date: Immediate start to July 2026 with potential to become permanent for the right English Teacher.
Contract: Part Time (Wednesday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:00pm)
Pay: -172.98 to -200 per day (dependent on experience)

We are working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Cardiff seeking a committed English Teacher to join their team with an immediate start until the end of the academic year (July 2026.) This is a full-time position with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
• Maintain strong behaviour management and create a positive learning environment
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references
