Mechanical Maintenance EngineerSalary: Up to 35,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeWe are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering company specialising in the heat treatment of steel and non-ferrous components for the Aerospace and Engineering industries.This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to join a small, supportive maintenance team, working on a variety of industrial furnaces, machinery and associated plant equipment.Our client is looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and keen to learn, with a solid mechanical background. Previous experience with heat treatment equipment is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.The RoleCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing of industrial furnaces and associated machinery.Diagnose mechanical faults and assist with breakdown repairs.Maintain and repair pumps, motors, bearings, belts, pulleys and transmission systems.Undertake general mechanical maintenance, including basic welding, fabrication and pipe fitting.Assist with installation, commissioning and upgrades of plant and equipment.Complete maintenance records and relevant engineering documentation.Support continuous improvement activities to increase equipment reliability.Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.Participate in out-of-hours breakdown support when required.What We''re Looking ForPrevious experience in ..... full job details .....
