You ll play a key role in ensuring plant availability, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:Perform planned preventative maintenanceRespond to breakdowns promptly and efficientlySupport spare parts management and stock controlMonitor plant condition and contribute to hygiene and audit improvementsSupervise contractors and manage permits to workIdentify and implement energy-saving initiativesWhat We re Looking For in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:City and Guilds Level 3/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical EngineeringExperience with planned maintenance systemsStrong health and safety awarenessLogical approach to fault findingEffective communication skillsMust live within 1 hour of the siteDesirable:Experience in FMCG or food industrySafety qualifications are beneficial Additional certifications (IPAF, PASMA, Forklift, BOAS, 18th Edition)Welding/fabrication skillsEquipment You ll Work With:Conveyors (drag chain, screw, belt and bucket)Mixing and weighing equipm
