SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary & Secondary

Location: Lewes and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time or part-time (flexible days)
Pay: £89.05 – £110 per day
Hours: School hours (typically 08:30 – 15:30)

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary and secondary schools across Lewes and nearby areas. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children with additional needs succeed in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with special educational needs in both learning and wellbeing
• Helping children remain focused, engaged, and confident throughout the school day
• Assisting teachers with lessons and classroom routines
• Creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere for learning
• Working flexibly across different schools and age groups

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people (in schools, care, youth work, etc.)
• A calm, patient, and supportive approach
• Confidence to adapt to different school settings
• A genuine interest in helping children reach their potential
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
