The hotel boasts 82 bedrooms, a leisure club, extensive conference and banqueting facilities and a restaurant.The hotel is busy throughout the year, with a focus on hosting both leisure and corporate guests for a variety of events. From private family functions, engagement parties, baby showers and weddings to product launches, conferences, board meetings, away days and more, we deliver a little stately service, with a lot of personality.Burnham Beeches Hotel just completed a beautiful transformation! Refreshments took place across the hotel from our suites and bedrooms in the original Manor House through to the Reception and other public areas, staying in keeping with the Manor House''s fantastic heritage and historical features.It is a fantastic time to join the hotel community and bring your own ideas, expertise, and experience whilst driving hotel business and performance.

Duties include:To support the Head Chef in ensuring the efficient, and effective running of the Kitchen Team.To deputise for the Head Chef in their absence.To ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard, and complies with food safety regulations.To supervise, train and motivate team to achieve company standards, and also to comply with Food and Health and Safety regulations.To achieve budgeted food gross profit.To ensure all food is served to the required company standard.To aid in the planning and implementation of all new menus.To ensure that all commodities are on site, at appropriate stock levels to service the hotel guest.To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation.To strive and anticipate customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.To ensure that all the team are correctly dressed, that they understand the importance of high personal hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate for the Sous Chef position should:Be confident in all aspects of food safety and health and safetyBe an excellent team playerHave great attention to detailHave excellent communication skillsHave the ability to remain calm under pressureBe experienced in working in a 2 rosette environment preferableBe experienced in working in a hotel environment preferableBe experienced in working across all sections of the kitchen andPrevious Sous chef experience preferableBe creative and bring new ideas to all our menus
