Role - Principal Mechanical EngineerLocation - CardiffSalary - up to 65k OverviewAn established and growing consultancy is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This senior role offers the opportunity to lead a team of around five Mechanical Engineers while taking responsibility for delivering and driving projects forward. The position has been created to provide additional leadership support to the Director and play a central role in the continued success of the business. The Role The Principal Mechanical Engineer will:Manage and mentor a team of Mechanical Engineers.Lead the delivery of mechanical projects across a variety of sectors.Drive projects forward while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.Play a key role in client liaison and building long-term relationships.Support the Director in overseeing workload and technical delivery.Contribute to the development and progression of junior engineers. RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant building services discipline.Extensive experience in mechanical building services design and consultancy.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong project delivery and client-facing experience.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
