Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor / Plumber

Due to continued company success, our client is seeking a multi-skilled applicant, who is confident in undertaking water hygiene and plumbing duties, in addition to legionella risk assessments. You will be joining a national player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, who have a growing presence across the South East of England. The ideal applicant will have a flexible attitude in order to adapt to changing client requirements. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor / Plumber
• Will hold the City and Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Must be qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket and NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
• Excellent technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Hardworking attitude
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
• Tank installations and chlorinations
• Showerhead disinfections
• TMV servicing, installations and replacements
• Removing deadlegs
• Replacing flexi-hoses
• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
• Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Fault-finding on site
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Producing detailed reports to advise on findings and make appropriate recommendations
