Quantity Surveyor
About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team delivering a major highways infrastructure project in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile scheme that will significantly improve transport connectivity in the region. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial management of the project, including cost planning, forecasting, and reporting Manage subcontractor procurement, tender evaluations, and contract administration Ensure accurate measurement, valuation, and agreement of work packages Monitor project performance and advise on cost-saving opportunities Prepare and manage claims, variations, and final account documentation Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to support successful delivery About You Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) Proven experience working on highways or major civil engineering projects Strong understanding of NEC contracts (NEC3 or NEC4) Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider project team Keen eye for detail and commitment to best practice in commercial management Salary is upto 55,000k + package.
