Role: Technical LeadLocation: Basingstoke, full time onsiteClearance level: DV requiredKey Responsibilities-Take full ownership of allocated work packages and drive them through design, build, test, and release into live service.-Provide strong technical leadership across Wintel-based and multi-platform environments.-Navigate and resolve obstacles including technical blockers, organisational bureaucracy, and interpersonal challenges.-Assess technical information from engineers, ensuring accuracy and calling out inconsistencies or blockers early.-Coordinate with engineering, architecture, test, change, and operations teams to maintain momentum and deliver on time.-Ensure that technical decisions are aligned with programme goals, compliance requirements, and best practices.-Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and escalate appropriately when required.Required Skills andamp; Experience-Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Delivery Lead, or Senior Engineer in complex IT environments.-Strong understanding of Wintel platforms (Windows Server, AD, group policy, infrastructure services, virtualisation, etc.).-Broad technical awareness across networks, security, applications, and integrations.-Ability to challenge technical teams constructively and separate fact from fiction.-Demonstrated success driving delivery in complex, bureaucratic, or high-pressure environments.-Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.-Experience working in or alongside
