The Business Development team are a front-line team, looking to convert as many prospective/cold leads into Tide Members as possible. Their efforts are instrumental in expanding Tide''s member base, ensuring that new members fully utilise and benefit from Tide’s comprehensive range of products. Through targeted outreach, strategic follow-ups, and personalised engagement, the Business Development team strives to turn every lead into a satisfied and loyal Tide Member.ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Development Executive, you will:Be involved in direct engagement with prospective leads face-to-face, either door-to-door or at eventsApproach prospects that have downloaded the Tide app but haven’t completed sign-up, and convert them into full-fledged membersGuide potential members through the signup process, answer their questions, and reassure them that Tide is the best solution for their needsHighlight and upsell other Tide services and products that could be beneficial to themWork closely with the KYC team to ensure members provide the correct documentation and troubleshoot any issues along the wayContact existing members to build rapport, understand their businesses, and upsell relevant Tide products and services to help them thriveUse your sales and commercial awareness to source your own leads and convert them into active membersSpend time coaching leads through the setup process, providing 5-star service as you welcome them to TideSupport our partners by onboarding new members from their locations, which can include multiple sitesBe entirely comfortable with cold calling, emailing, and outreach, and won’t need extensive coaching on thisWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team. We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications, experience, personality traits, and skills:Previous experience in a fast-paced fintech or sales environmentPrevious experience in face-to-face sales or telesales, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targetsEntrepreneurial and self-starter mentalityExcellent objection handling skills and the ability to thrive in a target-oriented environmentStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in EnglishExperience with CRM systems like Zendesk or similar toolsA passion for supporting small businesses and an interest in fintech productsAn ability to manage changing priorities and perform in a fast-paced environmentA positive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyWHAT YOU''ll GET IN RETURN
