Xpert Resourcing are working with a friendly and growing accountancy firm who are looking to add this person to their team in order to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.This position suits a capable practice accountant who enjoys owning client relationships, working through challenges, and delivering accurate, high-quality work end to end. You will oversee your own client portfolio, acting as a trusted adviser and ensuring all compliance obligations are met efficiently and to a high standard.Duties to Include:Overseeing a portfolio of Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited CompaniesPreparing and filing statutory accounts, tax returns (corporation and personal), VAT returns, and CISServing as the main point of contact and building long-term client relationshipsResponding to client queries with clear, practical solutionsStrong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax complianceComfortable working with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooksSelf-motivated, organised and able to manage a varied client workload independentlyExperience/Skills Required:At least 5 years'' experience within an accountancy practiceConfident in using cloud software/ Xero, Quickbooks, etcStrong UK Accounting and tax compliance knowledgeHours of Work:37.50 hours per week plus paid lunch breakBenefits:A friendly, supportive working environment.
