This role is with a client who provide a design and detailing service for a wide range of clients and schemes both locally and nationally. Their diverse portfolio includes multi-storey residential blocks, new housing schemes, schools and commercial developments ranging from small individual projects up to multi-million-pound schemes. Responsibilities and duties Working within a civils team of Senior Engineers, Engineers and Technicians, the role will be varied and will include: Technical support: Assisting in the preparation of technical drawings, design calculations, and other related documentation (e.g. drawing registers) for civil engineering schemes. Drafting, detailing and modelling: Using AutoCAD and other design software to produce detailed design drawings and models. Design development: Support the design process for infrastructure elements of a civil engineering scheme such as roads, drainage and earthworks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Quality assurance: Produce clear, well-presented drawings and other engineering documents and support the review and checking of drawings to ensure they meet internal quality standards. Client liaison: Occasionally assist in client meetings and design team meetings, presentations, and reporting as directed by senior team members.
