Part time SEN Teaching Assistant
Smile Education are looking for a Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a larger 2 form entry school, The school are looking for someone strong who can work on a 1:1 basis or interventions with a variety of different needs. The role would be part time, either 2 full days a week or 5 mornings a week. It would be a long term position with the potential of going permanent with the school The Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching AssistantEncouraging independence within the class and within students, being proactiveDevelop and concentrate on building a relationship with the children, staff and family members.Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.Create a secure and positive environment for the child to learn and feel comfortable.To apply for this SEN teaching assistant role, you will need:An up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months.A teaching assistant qualification or health and social care (level 2 or 3).Experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or small groups work.Experience working with Primary or secondary school children.At least 2 professional references covering the last 2 years of work history.The benefits of this SEN teaching assistant role:A daily rate of 100- 115 a dayPAYE and Umbrella payment optionsHoliday pay of 12.07%Free CPD training available via the smile portalReferral scheme up to 200Dedicated consultant working within your area Smile ..... full job details .....
