We are recruiting an experienced and reliable Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a mobile and independent 19-year-old female client with tracheostomy and PEG needs. This role includes supporting the client in the community and attending college, with transport provided by the family. Client and Clinical Needs Tracheostomy care PEG feeding and nutritional support Vital signs monitoring Medication administration Equipment in use: Tracheostomy tube Suction catheter Velcro ties and tracheostomy holder Round-ended scissors Key Responsibilities Tracheostomy care and monitoring PEG feeding and management Medication administration Moving and handling as required Monitoring early warning signs and escalating concerns Supporting communication and independence 1:1 support at college, including: Collecting the client from home Accompanying her to college Supporting her during college hours Returning her home after college Please note: the client travels to college in a car provided by the family. Essential Requirements Proven experience in tracheostomy care Experience with PEG feeding Confident with medication administration Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Professional, supportive, and person-centred approach What We Offer Consistent weekday shifts Approximately 25 hours per week Competitive hourly rates Ongoing clinical support from a specialist Complex Care team
