They are looking for an experienced Junior Building Structures Engineer to join one of their dedicated building structures teams. You will be joining a team who has been established for more than a decade and is headed up by one of the founding directors who is FIStructE and very supportive of all members of their team. You will be operating as a design engineer on a range of building structures projects including stadia, hotels, multi-storey residential structures and artistic installations. Once you are established within the team they are very good at giving their design engineers responsibility on projects and developing them to project engineers.As well as designing using all traditional materials (using hand calcs and design software) you will also be attending site meetings, design meetings and liaising with contractors as directed by the senior members of the team.To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will have an outstanding academic background (2:1 or better MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering) and at least 12 months experience working with a UK based structural consultancy working on similar style projects as a design/graduate engineer.
