Highway Electrician

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Highway Electrician to join our well established client. 

Responsibilities: 

• Structural Testing of assets including visual inspection complemented with non-destructive testing. 
• Electrical testing of the circuitry to establish if the lighting column is structurally and electrically safe. 
• Electrical testing comprises of Continuity of Conductors, Insulation Resistance, SELV and PELV, Polarity, Earth Fault Loop Impedance, Earth Electrode, Positive Fault Current, Functional Testing and Verification Voltage Drop. 
• Working away from home in most instances and in an outdoor environment. 

Requirements:

• Certified to BS 7671 IET WIRING REGULATIONS. 
• 18th Edition. 
• An Advanced Technical Diploma in Electrical Installations level 3 Inspection and Testing C&G 2391. 
• Registered and assessed on HERS (Highways Electrical Register). 

Salary: £31,200 - £49,920 Per Annum. 

Working hours: 8am – 4:30pm (Night shifts are also a requirement). 

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
