We are currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives for the Roller Department to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for the manufacture of components in accordance with drawings and customer specifications. Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm Rate: 12.71 + piecework bonus Type: Permanent Location: Lye, DY9 Key Responsibilities: Operating machinery to assembly industrial materials Grooving, Tapering, Lagging and Assembly of Roller components in accordance with the drawings and customer specifications Reporting any defective tooling, jigs, machines and fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved. Meet or exceed piecework quotas by completing a specific number of units or tasks within a set time frame. Requirements: Previous experience working with a factory setting or engineering environment Reliability and good communication skills. Good attention to detail Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
