Assistant Payroll ManagerLocation: BelfastJob Type: Full-time Permanent Hybrid WorkingSalary: £32,000 + per annumReed Accountancy are delighted to be partnered with a respected organisation based in Belfast area in the appointment of an experienced Assistant Payroll Manager join their dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis.The successful Assistant Payroll Manager will assist in managing a busy Payroll Department, ensuring accurate payroll processing and providing leadership in the absence of the Payroll Manager.Day-to-Day of the Role:Assist the Payroll Manager in overseeing payroll procedures and maintaining payroll records.Act as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and provide leadership to payroll staff when the Payroll Manager is absent.Address employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies or payment issues promptly.Assist in managing end-to-end payroll processing, including reviewing timesheets, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, taxes, pensions, and benefits.Verify payroll reports before final approval and reconcile payroll nominal accounts.Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and support the preparation of tax filings and statutory returns.Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with retention policies and help manage HR/payroll software.Required Skills and Qualifications:A recognised qualification in UK payroll, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals with a mi
