Job Title: Maths TeacherLocation: Pupil Referral Unit, West DraytonContract: Full-time (Permanent or Fixed-Term considered)Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) + SEN allowance (where applicable)Start Date: ASAP The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher to join a supportive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in West Drayton. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about re-engaging young people in learning and making a genuine difference to students'' lives. You will be teaching Maths to small groups of pupils who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education, including social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) needs. The role requires creativity, patience, and a strong belief in every pupil''s potential to succeed. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to individual needsSupport pupils to achieve positive academic and personal outcomesManage behaviour using a trauma-informed and restorative approachTrack progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglyWork closely with pastoral staff, SEN professionals, and external agenciesContribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience teaching Maths at KS3 and/or KS4Experience in a PRU, SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision setting is desirable (but not essential)Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilienceA flexible, reflective, and empathetic approa
