Building Host, Manchester City Centre

Monday to Friday, Full Time

£27,000 + performance based annual bonus

Our prestigious client, based within Manchester’s sought-after Spinningfields business district, is looking for a professional and personable Building Host to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills and the ability to create a welcoming, professional first impression.

Key responsibilities as Building Host:

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, tenants and guests as the first point of contact.
• Manage incoming calls and notify tenants of visitors.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong tenant relationships.
• Maintain a professional, clean and welcoming reception environment.
• Carry out daily building checks and report maintenance or cleaning issues.
• Liaise with security, cleaning and maintenance teams.
• Support building events and tenant initiatives, coordinate arrangements and encourage tenant engagement.
• Provide general administrative support, including reports, meter readings and tenant records.
• Assist with fire alarm testing, emergency procedures and planned evacuations.

Essentials for the role as Building Host:

• Previous experience within a Front of House, Reception or customer-facing roles.
• Excellent timekeeping, communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, confident and professional approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to use initiative.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.
• Confident IT skills with strong administrative capabilities.
