Electrical Fitter/ Industrial Electrician Wanted!  
Location: Leicester| Full Time
Salary: £32K (£49K OTE including overtime) | On Site

We’re working with a market-leading manufacturer based in Leicester, specialising in heavy plant equipment. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to recruit Electrical Fitters / Industrial Electricians to join their workshop team.

This is a hands-on role working on large-scale machinery and complex control systems — ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenges and detailed electrical work.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Wiring and installing electrical systems on heavy plant machinery
• Building and wiring large industrial control panels (high I/O volumes)
• Working on motors, control systems, and associated components
• Fault finding using electrical schematics
• Testing circuits using voltmeters and diagnostic tools
• Supporting the build and commissioning of equipment

Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition qualified
• Experience wiring machinery and industrial equipment
• Background in panel building and control systems
• Strong fault-finding skills using schematics
• Confident using testing equipment such as voltmeters
• Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
