A growing professional services organisation is seeking an experienced and highly organised Internal Accounts Manager / Office Manager to join their Manchester-based team. This is a dual-role position combining financial administration, credit control, and invoicing with responsibility for overseeing day-to-day office operations.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both operational and commercial functions, ensuring strong financial processes, accurate billing, and a well-managed, efficient office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts and Financial ManagementPrepare and issue client invoices, particularly in relation to RandD tax claimsCarry out benefit analysis and calculations to support ARC (Agreement/Revenue Calculations) and accurate invoicingManage credit control processes, including chasing outstanding payments and reducing debtor daysMaintain accurate financial records and support reporting activitiesLiaise with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely invoicingOffice and Operations ManagementOversee the day-to-day running of the office and act as the central administrative support functionSupport operational and sales teams with general administrationManage office supplies, systems, and overall office organisationEnsure a professional, efficient, and well-functioning working environmentClient and Internal CommunicationAct as a key point of contact for client invoicing and payment-related queriesBuild and maintain strong relations
