Search Consultancy is looking for a skilled and professional Painter & Decorator to join our team for a project in Hebburn. We are partnering with an established contractor who demands high-quality finishes and professional reliability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and wants a consistent, well-paying run of local work with an organised site management team.

Working on a well-managed project in the Hebburn area, you will be responsible for delivering flawless finishes:

• Surface Preparation: Sanding, scraping, filling, and masking up surfaces to ensure a perfect base for application.

• Internal Painting: Applying primers, undercoats, and gloss/emulsion finishes to walls, ceilings, skirtings, and architraves.

• Precision Cutting-In: Maintaining sharp, clean lines between contrasting colours and around fixtures and fittings.

• Material Care: Ensuring all brushes, rollers, and spray equipment are cleaned and stored properly, keeping material waste to a minimum.

• Site Cleanliness: Keeping your workspace tidy and protecting existing flooring and furniture from paint splatters.

• Blue CSCS Card or Higher: A valid Blue (Skilled Worker) or Gold (Advanced Craft) CSCS card is a non-negotiable requirement.

• Proven Experience: Extensive background in commercial or high-end residential painting and decorating.

• Tools & PPE: Must have a full professional kit of brushes, rollers, and standard whites, along with 5-point PPE.

• Attention to Detail: High standards of finish-ensuring work meets the client''s strict handover specifications.

• Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.

• Competitive Rate: A strong, reliable CIS rate of -21.00 per hour.
