Situated in St Johns Wood, we pride ourselves in offering a real home from home for business and leisure travellers alike.About the roleWe are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic hotel receptionist to join our Front Office team. You will be responsible for running an efficient reception area, managing bookings and ensuring a pleasant and warm experience for our guests.ResponsibilitiesGreeting guests on arrival to the hotel and making them instantly feel at easeProcessing check-ins and explaining key facilities within the hotel including the fitness centre and on-site food and beverage offerings.Taking bookings by phone, email or walk ins and recording all details in our online systemProviding advice and information about local attractions, restaurants and transport optionsProcessing accurately all guest charges.Creating final bills at check-out and processing paymentsHelping guests with special requests, for example wake-up services and late departuresTaking messages and passing them on to guests promptlyDealing with guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional mannerLiaising with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are available for check-inShifts are based on 5 of 7 days on a shift pattern of early, late and weekends.Salary and benefitsPermanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week)Salary £26,363.39 per annum (£13.52 per hour)Incentive programMeals on DutyPension scheme with enhanced 6% Employer contributionsUniform laundry serviceDiscount travel program in Danubius hotels including Friends and Family discountCandidate requirementsEssential

:Previous hotel Receptionist experienceExcellent customer service skills including telephone mannerGood Level of Spoken and written EnglishDesirable
