Contracts Manager
The VacancyWPS are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of our responsive repairs service within the social housing sector. This is a pivotal role, responsible for managing both the contract and the operational team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with performance targets. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day management of the responsive repairs contract.Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors.Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality standards, and contractual KPIs.Build strong relationships with clients, residents, and internal stakeholders.Monitor budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective delivery.Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the service. RequirementsCurrent experience as a Contracts Manager in responsive repairs or a closely related field.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors.Strong understanding of social housing and the challenges of delivering repairs services.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
